Dr Don Batten

Dr Batten has been a Consultant in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry since 1984, initially running an adolescent in-patient unit, and over the last 28 years in outpatient CAMHS clinics. His qualifications are:

    His special interests have been in Medical Ethics and Neuro-developmental problems, although his time over the last 5 years has been mainly in working with depression and anxiety in young people.

    Dr Batten started child and adolescent medico-legal practice in 1981, whilst a trainee, and commenced a private medico-legal practice in 1992. The bulk of this practice is in PTSD following accidents, but he also occasionally sees criminal cases.

    Litfield House Medical Centre in Clifton, Bristol, with an additional clinic in Cheltenham, and can occasionally carry out home visits within a 1 hour radius.
