    • Psychiatrists biography

      Dr Andrew has special expertise in Liaison Psychiatry, Traumatic Stress and PTSD. He has run a clinic for the Cardiff Traumatic Stress Service since 2007, and provided psychiatric support to the Veterans Service. He is an Approved Clinician and is approved under Section 12 of the MHA. Dr Andrew has regular assessment clinics in his rooms in London, Exeter, Reading, Bristol and Cardiff. He is also happy to carry out home assessments of claimants. He has had extensive medicolegal report writing experience since 1999, producing around 70 reports per year, mainly personal injury reports for court. He also prepares independent reports on psychiatric injury in cases related to negligence, occupational health and Employment Tribunal reports. He also has expertise in complex capacity assessments.  He is a medical member for the Welsh Mental Health Review Tribunal.

      Dr Andrew was listed for over 12 years in the Expert Witness Directory, and is currently listed in Expert Witness. He has completed Bond Solon Expert Witness Courtroom Skills and Cross Examination courses. He has given evidence in court, for the employment tribunal and for a public inquiry.

      Clinics in Cardiff (Cyncoed Consulting Rooms); Bristol; Exeter; Reading; London (Westend Medical Practice, Marylebone). I am happy to travel any distance to assess claimants at home at my hourly rate.
