    Dr Uppal is approved under Section 12(2) of the Mental Health Act and has over 20 years’ experience in assessing patients under the Act. He has prepared hundreds of reports for Mental Health Review Tribunals and Mental Health Act Managers’ Meetings.

    Dr Uppal has prepared medicolegal reports since 2006 for criminal offences for Magistrates and Crown Courts. He has also prepared reports for, and given evidence at, Coroner’s Courts. He has completed the Bond Solon Expert Witness Training course and attends their annual conference.

    Clinics:
    Appointments are available on Saturday mornings (preferred) or evenings if needed, by videolink or in person in Cheltenham. Dr Uppal can also travel up to 1 hour e.g. to Bristol if necessary.
